JaToya Woods finished with a season-high 20 points, but Trinity International were outscored 24-15 in the fourth quarter, falling at home to the Goshen (Ind.) Maple Leafs, Saturday night inside Van Dixhorn Arena.

Trinity held an early lead, after Woods hit the and-1 layup for the first points of the night. After Goshen moved in front 5-3,
Parris Bryant briefly tied the game with the first of her five field goals on the night, at the 8:21 mark of the first period. The Maple Leafs would lead by as much as seven, until Bryant answered with a layup to close the quarter, cutting the Goshen lead to 22-17 at the end of the first.
Three times in the second, the Trojans would pull to within three, the latest off a three-pointer from
Sarina Pitson-Falvo with 3:36 to play in the first half, cutting the Maple Leaf advantage to 34-31. Goshen would close the half on an 8-1 run however, going into the break with a 42-32 lead.
A three-pointer from Woods with 3:37 in the third period would bring TIU back to within four, but that would be as close as they would come the rest of the night, before the fourth-quarter run would put the game out of reach.
Two other Trojans would finish in double figures, as Falvo collected 17 points from 5-of-11 shooting and four three-pointers. Bryant finished the night with 10 points to go with a team-high seven rebounds.
The Trojans are back in action Wednesday night, when they host St. Xavier in the CCAC opener. Tipoff against the Cougars is set for 5:30 p.m.
