JaToya Woods led Trinity International with 13 points, but the 6th-ranked Cardinal Stritch Wolves would use a big run in the opening minutes to jump out in front and lead the rest of the way, as the Trojans fell 90-49 in CCAC play on Wednesday night.

The Trojans had a strong night from long range, connecting on seven three-pointers, one short of their season high, with a season-best .467 shooting percentage from beyond the arc. Despite their hot shooting, the Trojans struggled on the glass, as CSU outrebounded Trinity by a 57-33 margin. The Wolves collected 23 second-chance points off 18 offensive rebounds to help secure the game.
Cardinal Stritch jumped out to a big lead, with a 21-4 advantage in the first nine minutes of play. TIU used a 9-4 run over the last two minutes to close the gap, which included a three from Woods, but went into the halftime break trailing 44-29.
The Wolves came out of the break and scored the first 13 points of the second half, stretching their lead to 30 points with 13:52 to play, 59-29.

Basha Ramsey finished with a team-high seven rebounds on the night.
Trinity are back in action this Saturday night, when they host Trinity Christian as a part of the Van Dixhorn Arena Celebration Night. Tipoff against the Trolls is set for 5:30 p.m.
