CLERMONT, Fla. -- The 2015 Trinity International Softball season got underway Saturday afternoon, as the Trojans began an eight-game Spring Break swing through Florida. The Trojans fell in the first two games of the trip, as TIU were shut out 12-0 against Webber International (Fla.), and 13-0 to Cornerstone (Mich.)

The Trojans managed three hits over both games, as Ashley Doomis, Tori Livingston, and Ashley O'Brien opened the season with base hits. Doomis and Livingston each had a single against Webber International, while O'Brien hit a one-out double in the first inning against Cornerstone.

Trinity International will continue the road trip on Monday, when they take on Spring Arbor (Mich.) and Marian (Ind.), beginning at 4:00 p.m.
