DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Trinity International softball suffered a pair of high-scoring losses on Monday afternoon, dropping both ends of a doubleheader to St. Francis, 28-3 in Game 1, and 10-1 in Game 2.

Victoria Livingston and
Jamie Stanton drew back-to-back walks, and
Kourtney Gergeni picked up her first career RBI with a single to left center.
Jamie Stanton then hit a two-out, two-RBI double in the bottom of the 5th for Trinity's second and third runs of the game.
Season Stats | CCAC StandingsIn game two, the Trojans were again shut out until the later innings, as St. Francis scored ten unanswered runs over five and a half innings. Stanton's solo home run in the bottom of the 6th allowed the Trojans to avoid the shutout.
Justine Wigboldy and
Breanna Hansen each picked up two hits in the second game, going 2-for-3. Both players finished with a team-high three hits over both games.
The Trojans will hit the road tomorrow, for a CCAC doubleheader against No. 5 St. Xavier. First pitch from Chicago is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
