CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Trojans' offense struggled to find an answer all day, as the 5th-ranked St. Xavier Cougars earned a pair of shutout victories on Tuesday afternoon over Trinity International, 9-0 in a five-inning first game, and 6-0 in the nightcap. Trinity were the victims of a perfect game pitched by SXU's Nicole Nonnemacher in Game 1, before producing two hits in Game 2.

Tina Lebar scored the Trojans' first base hit, with an infield single in the top of the 5th. TIU had two runners on base after a fielding error allowed Dania Pristach aboard, but the Trojans weren't able to pick up a run. In the 7th inning, Ashley O'Brien had a one-out single to right center, but was also stranded to seal the shutout.
