HAMMOND, Ind. -- Trinity International was held off the scoreboard for the second matchup in a row, as the Trojans fell to the Purdue-Calumet Peregrines, 20-0 in game one, and 16-0 in game two, on Thursday afternoon at Dowling Park.

A pair of Trojans recorded base hits in both games, as Jamie Stanton and Emily Doomis each went a combined 2-for-4 on the day. In game one, Stanton had the team's lone extra-base hit, with a two-out double to right center in the top of the 4th. Doomis then singled in the next at-bat, but the Trojans were unable to drive in the run and stranded a pair of runners on base.

Alyssa Doomis finished 1-for-2 in the first game of the day, while Victoria Livingston went 1-for-2 in game two.

The Trojans are back in action for their final home game of the year on Tuesday, April 21, when they host the Roosevelt Lakers. First pitch on Senior Day is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
