DEERFIELD, Ill. -- In their final home game of the season, Trinity International softball suffered a doubleheader sweep at the hands of the Roosevelt Lakers, falling 8-0 in game one, then taking an 8-1 loss in game two.
Box Scores: Game 1 | Game 2Jamie Stanton got the start in the first game of the day, holding the Lakers off the scoreboard for the first three innings. Roosevelt took a 2-0 lead in the top of the 4th, using three hits and an error to push across a pair of unearned runs. After tacking on another run to make it a 3-0 lead in the 5th, Roosevelt scored five runs on three hits and three errors in the top of the 6th to secure an 8-0 lead.

Alyssa Doomis finished the first game 2-for-3, while
Danielle Donorovich went 1-for-2 with the team's lone extra-base hit, a double in the bottom of the 5th.

Dania Pristach - the Trojans again held the Lakers to a tie game through three innings. Roosevelt took an early 1-0 lead on a passed ball in the top of the 1st, but Trinity would tie the game in the bottom of the 2nd, when
Emily Doomis' double to center allowed
Justine Wigboldy to hit a sacrifice fly to right, as
Victoria Livingston came home to score.
The Lakers would score in each of the final four innings to build an 8-1 lead. Roosevelt posted a pair of runs in the top of the 4th, then three more in the 5th on their way to their second win of the day.
The Trojans will wrap up the regular season on Thursday, when they travel to face the Robert Morris Eagles for a doubleheader at 3:00 p.m.
