DEERFIELD, Ill. - A close game through the first ten minutes, a scoring drought in the second and third periods allowed the visiting Indiana-South Bend Titans to pull away, as Trinity International suffered a 69-45 loss on Saturday night inside Van Dixhorn Arena.

JaToya Woods led the Trojans (7-14, 3-11 CCAC) with 15 points on the night, on 6-of-14 shooting, the lone player for TIU in double figures.
Woods scored the team's first nine point, as the lead changed hands four times in those opening ten minutes. IU-South Bend (12-13, 6-8 CCAC) finished off the period with six straight points, claiming a 19-16 advantage at the end of the first quarter.
After a three-pointer from
Sarina Falvo at the 6:12 mark of the second quarter – making it a 23-21 Titan lead – Trinity were held 12 minutes without a field goal, allowing IUSB to take a 27-0 run to put the game out of reach.
The Trojans would outscore their opponents in the fourth period by an 18-9 margin, but ran out of time to put together a comeback rally.
Basha Ramsey led the team in rebounds, picking up eight while tallying five points on the night.
Rayelle Ross collected seven points off the bench to lead the TIU reserves.
The Trojans are back in action Wednesday night, when they host Judson. Tipoff from Van Dixhorn Arena is set for 5:30 p.m.
