DEERFIELD, Ill. - For the third straight match, Trinity International were held without a goal, as the Trojans fell to the visiting Roosevelt Lakers on Tuesday afternoon, 2-0 at Scharnter Field.

Trinity (4-7-2, 3-3-1 CCAC) are in the midst of a 329-minute scoring drought, and despite taking six shots on the day, were held without an attempt on goal. The Lakers (9-4-1, 6-2 CCAC) maintained possession throughout a majority of the match, out-shooting the Trojans by a 14-6 margin.
RU's Omar Guzman broke the scoreless tie in the 21st minute, with the first of his two goals on the day.
Krystian Streit and
Zach Reget each had a chance at a first-half equalizer, but both shots were blocked by Roosevelt defenders before the reached the keeper.
Guzman doubled the visitor's lead in the 78th minute, with Trinity generating three shots in the second half, but unable to find the back of the net.

Jared Yonke finished with four saves in the match.
The Trojans hit the road this Saturday, when they take on St. Ambrose. Kickoff from Davenport Soccer Complex in Davenport, Iowa is set for 7:30 p.m.
