DAVENPORT, Iowa - An 85th-minute goal was the only offense on Saturday night, as Trinity International took a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the St. Ambrose Bees.

Kept off the scoreboard for the fourth straight match, Trinity (4-8-2, 3-4-1 CCAC) were even with the home team with 12 shots taken on both sides. Nathaniel Michaelis took two shots on goal in the first half, but both attempts were stopped by the SAU keeper.

In the second half, the Trojans registered just one shot on goal, before the Bees (7-6-1, 6-2 CCAC) took the lead with five and a half minutes left on the clock.

A balanced attack for TIU, five different players finished with a team-high two shots taken, while Michaelis led the team with a pair of shots on goal. Junior goalkeeper Jared Yonke collected six saves on the night.

Trinity returns to Schartner Field next Wednesday, October 19, when they host Holy Cross. Kickoff against the Saints is set for 3:30 p.m.
