DAVENPORT, Iowa - Isabelle Danner scored her team-leading third goal of the season, but an overtime goal from the home team dealt Trinity International a 2-1 loss to the St. Ambrose Bees on Saturday night.

Danner put the Trojans (4-10, 3-5 CCAC) ahead 1-0 after scoring directly on the corner kick in the 39th minute. The Trojans were able to hold off the St. Ambrose attack in the first half, despite being out-shot 8-5 in the period.
St. Ambrose (9-3-2, 6-2 CCAC) evened the score in the 56th minute, after earning a penalty kick goal. Trinity struggled to earn significant possession in the attacking third, being held without a shot in the second half and in extra time.
SAU's Sarah Treat ended the match in overtime, scoring the game-winning goal just 90 seconds into overtime to make it a 2-1 final score.
Danner led the Trojans with four shots on the day, and two shots on goal. Freshman goalkeeper
Rebecca Wells played all 92 minutes, finishing with four saves.
Trinity returns home for their next match, on Tuesday, October 18, when they host Holy Cross beginning at 3:30 p.m.
