Box Score | Season Stats

Sophomore forward Isabelle Danner led the Trojans (5-10, 4-5 CCAC) with four goals on the day, recording her first career hat trick. The Metamora, Ill. native came up just one goal shy of the TIU single-game record, and with one assist in the match, also finished one shy of the single-game points record.

Playing with only ten throughout the match, Holy Cross (2-13, 0-9 CCAC) surrendered three goals in the opening ten minutes, with scores from Jillian Kolster, Danner, and Michele Streekstra. After Marta Sobey's goal in the 13th minute, Trinity pulled one player off the field to finish the match ten-on-ten with a 4-0 lead.

Danner pitched in her second goal of the day, before Nicole McKevitt scored her first of the season in the 31st minute to give Trinity a 6-0 advantage at the halftime break. Danner then recorded the hat trick just after the halftime break, scoring in the 48th minute.

Streekstra scored her second goal in the 55th minute, while Kylie Bowman picked up her first career goal in the 57th minute. Danner capped off the scoring with her fourth goal of the match, and seventh of the season in the 62nd minute.

The win marks the highest number of goals scored by the Trojans since Sept. 30, 2008, when Trinity posted a 16-0 win over Calumet St. Joseph.

The Trojans return to Schartner Field on Homecoming Saturday, October 22nd, when they host Trinity Christian. The team will also honor their seniors before the match, which is set to kick off at noon.
