DEERFIELD, Ill. - Trinity International put in a dominant showing for Homecoming weekend, taking a 2-0 victory over the Trinity Christian Trolls on Saturday afternoon at Schartner Field.

Coming out of the halftime break, the Trolls went down a man after a red card was awarded in the 47th minute. Trinity International continued to press into the attacking third with the man adantage, as
Kyle McNamara broke through with a goal in the 56th minute, assisted by
Brennan Joseph.
Defensively, sophomore keeper
Jared Yonke collected his 10th career shutout, making two saves in the win.
With the win, the Trojans will end the weekend no worse than 7th in the CCAC standings, with two matches remaining in the regular season, as the top eight teams from the league will qualify for the CCAC Tournament.
The Trojans wrap up the home schedule next Tuesday, October 25th, when they host the Calumet St. Joseph Crimson Wave. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m.
