DEERFIELD, Ill. - Reigning CCAC Player of the Week
Isabelle Danner continued her dominant run Wednesday afternoon, scoring four times in Trinity International's 6-1 victory over Calumet St. Joseph in the team's regular season home finale.

The Trojans (6-10-1, 5-5-1 CCAC) took the early lead on a rain-soaked Schartner Field, when
Kylie Bowman scored her second goal of the year in just the 5th minute of play. Danner quickly added to the Trojans' lead, with goals in the 7th and 11th minutes.
Trinity would put just one more shot on target throughout the rest of the first half, but would out-shoot the Wave (4-13, 4-8 CCAC) by a 10-1 margin before the break. Calumet would get one score back early in the second half, when Brooke Jackson put the ball past the keeper from in front of the mouth of the goal in the 52nd minute.
Quickly responding to the goal, the Trojans scored back-to-back goals in the 57th and 58th minutes, both from Danner.

Michele Streekstra's corner kick.
Danner led TIU with seven shots and five shots on goal throughout the day, as the team finished with an 18-4 shot advantage over the visitors.
With the win, the Trojans have clinched a spot in the CCAC Tournament, which begins on Saturday, Nov. 5. Trinity will learn its final seeding and first-round destination after the final round of games this Saturday. First, the team will wrap up the 2016 regular season this Saturday, October 29, with a trip to No. 24 Olivet Nazarene. Kickoff with the Tigers is set for 1:00 p.m.
