The Trojans (6-11-1, 5-6-1 CCAC) struggled to maintain possession, and were outshot by the host Tigers (13-2-2, 11-1 CCAC) by a 25-4 margin. Junior goalkeeper
Surina Lewandowski kept Trinity in the match however, making nine saves on the day.
Isabelle Danner led the Trojans with two shots, and one shot on goal.
Danner's shot on frame in the 31st minute, along with
Makena Walker's shot on goal in the 67th were the only shots on target for the Trojans, both saved by ONU keeper Sarah Vrosh.
Once the match went into extra time, ONU's Taylre Devine scored in the 95th minute to clinch the win for the Tigers.
The Trojans wrap up the regular season and earn the No. 7 seed in the CCAC Tournament, which kicks off next Saturday, November 4. The Trojans will rematch with the Tigers, who grab the No. 2 seed. Start time for next Saturday's match in Bourbonnais will be announced later next week.
