ELGIN, Ill. - Finishing their last round of matches against CCAC South Division opponents, Trinity International came away with a split on Saturday afternoon, defeating Calumet St. Joseph in straight sets before falling in four to Trinity Christian in the second day of the CCAC Crossover, hosted at Judson.

Ashlyn Spay and
Gabby Miller led the Trojans (10-25, 4-13 CCAC) with ten kills apiece in a 25-16, 25-15, 28-26 win over the Crimson Wave, as Spay recorded her eighth double-double of the season. Freshman
Piper Thompson collected 29 assists as the Trojans' primary setter, while fellow first-year Trojan
Kayla Jacks led the defense with 14 digs.
In the second game of the day, Jacks earned her third triple-double of the year, tallying 11 kills, 22 assists, and 14 digs in a 25-19, 19-25, 25-21, 25-22 loss. Spay again led the attack with a team-high 13 kills, and posted another double-double, with 10 digs.
The Trojans return to Van Dixhorn Arena this Tuesday night, November 1st, when they host the Roosevelt Wave in the final home match of the season. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m., as the team will honor its three seniors in their final home appearance before the match.
