DEERFIELD, Ill. - In a battle between two of the top four teams in the CCAC, Trinity International were unable to find the net, falling at home Saturday afternoon to the Cardinal Stritch Wolves, 2-0.

The Trojans (4-6-2, 3-2-1 CCAC) fell behind early, when Stritch forward Scott Evans put his team in front with a goal in the 6th minute.
Phil Parker went for the equalizer in the 15th minute, but his shot was saved, and three corner kick opportunities were handled by the CSU defense in the first half.
Cardinal Stritch (6-3-3, 5-1-1 CCAC) doubled their lead at the start of the second half, as Teren Schuster scored in the 46th minute. Trinity were outshot 9-4 in the second half, but had three attacks called back for being offside.

Jared Yonke finished with eight saves on the day, while Parker and
Zach Reget led the attack with two shots and one shot on goal apiece.
Trinity return to Schartner Field on Tuesday, October 11, when they host the Roosevelt Lakers in CCAC play beginning at 4:00 p.m.
