PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. - Michael Balistreri collected a team-leading three hits on the day, but Trinity International ultimately suffered a doubleheader sweep Saturday afternoon, dropping a pair of non-conference matchups with the Trinity Christian Trolls, 8-2 in game one, and 8-1 in game two.

The Trojans (2-2) held an early lead in the first game of the day, when Ethan Jarvis' first-inning single drove in
Jeff Lindberg for the 1-0 lead. Trinity Christian (2-2) tied the game with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 2nd, before
Justin VanderNaald's one-out single in the 3rd brought home Lindberg for his third run of the fall season.
TCC would respond with two runs in the bottom half of the 3rd to claim their first lead of the day, then added a five-run 6th inning to put the game out of reach. The Troll would continue their hot hitting in game two, tacking up one run in the 1st and five more in the 2nd for an early 6-0 edge. A sacrifice fly from Jacob Hood in the Trojans' last time to the plate in the 7th would score Skyler Janikowski, for is first RBI as a Trojan.
Trinity wraps up the fall season with a 2-2 record. Balisteri and
Alex Rodriguez both finish the fall with a four-game hitting streak, while Balistreri leads the team with a .462 average.Â
