Brookelyn Robertson finished with a team-leading and career-high 13 points, but a tough shooting night overall for Trinity International resulted in a 73-61 road loss to the Roosevelt Lakers on Wednesday night.

The Trojans (2-6, 0-4 CCAC) struggled from beyond the arc, hitting 3-of-22 for a .136 percentage, the team's second-lowest this season. Junior wing
Nika Bracun finished with ten points on two of those three three-pointers, while
Jendayi Campbell also finished with ten points after coming off the bench for the Trojans.
Trinity took an early lead when
Tashyra Burrough scored the first two buckets of the game, but Roosevelt (5-2, 3-1 CCAC) responded with nine straight to take a lead they would hold the rest of the night. After outscoring the Trojans in the first and second periods, the Lakers would take a 41-26 advantage at halftime, as Bracun paced Trinity with nine first-half points.
Roosevelt would continue to build on their lead, going up by as much as 24 in the third period, capping an 11-2 run to lead 52-28 at the 5:44 mark. Trinity would cut the deficit in half before the end of the night, with another layup from Burrough in the closing seconds of the fourth period.
The Trojans continue their road trip on Saturday, when they take on the 15th-ranked Purdue-Northwest Pride, beginning at 1:00 p.m. in Hammond, Ind.
