CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - A defensive battle throughout, Trinity International suffered a shutout in their third straight match Saturday, falling on the road to No. 14 Campbellsville (Ky.), 1-0.

Just 12 shots were taken between both sides, with sophomore
Jillian Kolster taking a team-high three for the Trojans (1-5), with one of the team's two shots on goal. Campbellsville (6-1) took the lead in the 38th minute, when CU's Madison Kennedy collected a rebound off a saved shot and put it away for the 1-0 score.
The Trojans' best chance at the equalizer came early in the second half, when, Kolster and
Makena Walker fired a pair of shots on target within a two-minute span, but both attempts were stopped by the Tiger goalkeeper.
Rebecca Wells made five saves in her Trojan debut, playing all 90 minutes in her first start.
Trinity returns to Schartner Field on Saturday, Sept. 17, when they kick off CCAC play with a match against Robert Morris. Kickoff with the Eagles is set for 12:00 p.m.
