DEERFIELD, Ill. - Senior guard
Arielle Miree led Trinity International with ten points, but the Trojans were unable to keep up with undefeated No. 1 St. Francis on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Saints 73-46.

The Trojans (6-14, 2-11 CCAC) held their own in the opening minutes, as the lead traded hands three times over the first five minutes of play. A three-pointer from
Sarina Falvo gave TIU the 10-8 lead, but ten unanswered points from St. Francis put the visitors ahead the rest of the day. A field goal from Miree late in the first quarter gave the senior five points to lead the Trojans in the opening period as the Trojans trailed 23-12.
A 7-0 run for the Saints (20-0, 11-0 CCAC) extended the lead to 42-21 at the halftime break. Miree, Falvo, and
Brookelyn Robertson all led Trinity with five points in the first half. The St. Francis defense allowed just six points in the third period, as the Saints went on to secure the win.
Falvo finished with a team-high eight rebounds on the day, while
Nika Bracun recorded two assists to lead the team.
The Trojans are back in action Wednesday night with another tough test, when they host the No. 3 St. Xavier Cougars, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
