Box Score KENOSHA, Wisc. - The TIU Men's Basketball team suffered a 106-71 loss to UW-Parkside in exhibition play this Saturday afternoon.
It was a difficult day shooting the ball for the Trojans, as TIU shot just 40% from the field, and 33% from three point range. O'Shae Williams yet again led the way for the Trojans, registering 16 points and five rebounds while adding three assists.
The Rangers came out of the gate quickly on Saturday, jumping out to as much as a 14 point lead in the first half while shooting over 65% from the field.
The second half saw much of the same as UW-Parkside continued to dominate offensively. The Rangers finished the game 14-25 from long range, and the early deficit was too much for the Trojans to overcome.
"We're too inconsistent right now, and when we play really good teams our weaknesses get exposed," said Head Coach
Boomer Roberts. "We're going to do our best to get it fixed and keep moving forward."
Trinity International will be back in action this Tuesday as they step out of conference play and travel to Lincoln, Illinois to play Lincoln Christian at 5:30 pm.
