Alyssa Doomis recorded three RBI, matching a season high, but Trinity International would fall in both games of a doubleheader to the Cardinal Stritch Wolves, 20-0 and 14-6 in a pair of shortened five-inning contests Thursday afternoon.

After being held to just three hits in the first game, the Trojans (2-12, 0-2 CCAC) used a five-run rally in the top of the 4th to take a lead in game two. TIU would load the bases with a single and two errors, and take a 2-1 lead on a third error, allowing

Jessica Vroman and
Payton Carli each singled to drive in two more runs, and Doomis' two-out double increased the Trojans' lead to 6-1.
The Wolves (11-5, 2-0 CCAC) responded with eight runs in the bottom of the frame however, then ended the game early with five more in the bottom of the 5th.
Vroman, Doomis, and Stanton each finished the second game with two hits apiece, with Doomis hitting the Trojans' lone double. Vroman tallied a team-high three base hits between both games.
The Trojans now prepare for their home opener, set for this Saturday, March 25 when they take on the Calumet St. Joseph Crimson Wave. First pitch from Heritage Park in Wheeling, Ill. is set for 3:00 p.m.
