Freshman
Grace Magnuson and sophomore
Taylor Carli each earned a complete game win;  Magnuson would work around 11 hits to allow just two runs and striking out seven, while Carli gave up only three hits, forcing 14 of her 21 batters faced to ground out.
The Trojans (9-15, 5-5 CCAC) scored two runs on four hits in the first inning, as
Alyssa Doomis drove in
Jessica Vroman for the first score of the day. Two hitters later,
Emily Doomis doubled down the left field line, scoring Alyssa for the 2-0 lead. TIU extended the lead in the bottom of the 3rd with

Alyssa Doomis for the second time and a 3-run advantage.
Calumet St. Joseph (7-19, 2-3 CCAC) would get a run back in both the 4th and 5th innings, but the Trojans would put the game away with a five-run 5th. Senior second baseman
Jamie Stanton would clear a bases-loaded situation with a double to the gap in right center, then would score herself after a Calumet throwing error.
Trinity wasted no time in building a lead in game two, scoring five runs on just two hits as three Trojans were hit by pitches in the 1st inning. CCSJ's Priscilla Aponte would settle in after a rough opening frame, giving up just three hits over the next four innings. The Trojans would finish out the game by run rule in the bottom of the 6th, with RBI singles from

The Trojans' current six-game win steak is the program's longest since 2006, when the program won six straight on two different occasions.
Trinity are back in action Saturday afternoon, when they host the Trinity Christian Trolls from Heritage Park. First pitch of the CCAC doubleheader is set for 12:00 p.m.
