DEERFIELD, Ill. - It was another solid performance for the TIU Volleyball team, sweeping Roosevelt University for the second time this season, winning their 16th game of the 2018 campaign.
The Trojans came out of the gate quickly to open the match and never looked back from there, scoring 8 straight points and taking a commanding 13-3 lead they would never relinquish. TIU would win the opening set 26-16, before decisive 25-14 and 25-21 wins in the second and third sets to sweep the Lakers.
Madeline Decker was the star offensively for the Trojans, recording a match high 12 kills, while
Brianna Torres chipped in 9 of her own to round out the top Trojan performers.
The Lady Trojans will look to pick up another CCACÂ win this Thursday when they travel to take on St. Xavier University at 7 PM.
