ELGIN, Ill. - Thanks to the strong play of Jeremy Carlyle the TIU Men's Basketball team put an end to their two game slide with a much needed 86-81 CCAC win over Judson University on Wednesday night.

After a back and forth opening half the Trojans came out of the gate quickly to begin the second frame. Two quick buckets from TIU gave them a four point lead they would maintain the majority of the half.

Carlyle, who scored just 6 points in the first 20 minutes, played a near perfect second half to push the Trojans to victory. The Senior went 7-8 from the field, while going 4-5 from three point range and a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line.

Leading by four late in the half the late free throws from Carlyle helped seal the Trojan win, their fourth CCAC win of the season. 

The Trojans will look for the second consecutive win on Saturday when they host CCAC rival Robert Morris University at 3:30 PM.
