ELGIN, Ill. - A strong second half was not enough on Wednesday evening as the TIU Women's Basketball team suffered a 77-59 loss to Judson University inside the Linder Fitness Center earlier tonight.

The Lady Trojans opened the game struggling to find their shot on the offensive side of the floor. TIU would connect on just 33% of their shots, while going only 2-11 from three point range.

Trailing 44-24 at the halftime break the Trojans made some halftime adjustments that saw their offensive success skyrocket. Thanks to the play of Kylee Daniels the Trojans began to climb back into the game. The Senior went on a team in the final 20 minutes, collecting 14 of her 21 points while going 4-5 from three point range.

Despite the strong second half the Trojans could not seem to stop the Eagles, who would eventually close out a 79-55 win over TIU.

The Trojans will look to bounce back later this week when they host Robert Morris University on Saturday at 1 PM.
