LIMA, Ohio. - In their second game of the 2018 season the TIU Women's Basketball team hit the road to take on University of Northwestern Ohio, suffering a 69-55 loss on Saturday afternoon.
With a lot of new faces on the court for TIU the Trojans saw solid performances from multiple newcomers to the program. Junior
Krystal Walker and Freshman
Alina Jahnke both finished with a team high 16 points in the loss.
It was a back and forth affair all night long, but the third quarter was the difference in the game, with the Racers outscoring TIU 22-9. TIU fought back in the fourth quarter, outscoring UNO but the early deficit was too much to overcome.
The Trojans will look to get back into the win column on Friday when they host Emmaus Bible in the first of two games over the weekend.
