DEERFIELD, Ill. - It was a tough night shooting the ball for the TIU Men's Basketball team, as the Trojans shot just 25% from the field in a 98-45 loss to #5 Indiana Tech on Wednesday evening.
The Trojans got out to a solid start in the game, taking an early 11-7 lead, hitting multiple shots in the opening minutes.
Despite the strong start from TIU the Warriors would put on an offensive clinic the rest of the way. ITU would cruise into the halftime break with a 50-20 lead.
After the halftime break the Trojans came out quickly, with
Brandon Lawani hitting back to back buckets to give TIU some early momentum. After four quick points from TIU, indiana Tech picked right back up where they left off, scoring 49 second half points in rout to a 98-45 win over TIU.
The Trojans will look to bounce back this weekend with a pair of games in the upcoming Trojan Classic.
