LEESBURG, Fla. - In one of their best offensive performances of the season the TIU Softball team picked up their fourth win of the week, defeating Bethel College 14-3 on Wednesday afternoon.

Gina Loy led the way for the Trojans, going 3-4 with a 2B, a pair of HR's and 6 RBI's in the Trojans rout of the Pilots. Sophomore Tenley Bozzi finished a perfect 4-4 from the dish with a pair of doubles to go along with knocking in a run in the victory.

The Trojans fell behind early after the Pilots grabbed an early 1-0 lead following a pair of hits in the opening frame.

Following a Danielle Dayley RBI single Loy started her day off on a high note, bringing the Trojans right back into the game with a two-run homer to put the Trojans ahead, as they would not trail the remainder of the game.

Loy would notch her second hit of the game on an RBi double in the 3rd inning, before crushing a two out two-run homer in the 6th to put away the Pilots and send TIU to a 13-4 victory.

The Trojans will wrap up their spring trip tomorrow when they take on #4 Marian University, followed by a mid-afternoon tilt against Midway University.
