DEERFIELD, Ill. - In yet another hard fought rivalry game against the Judson Eagles the TIU Men's Soccer Team drew 1-1 with JU on Saturday afternoon after neither side could find the back of the net in overtime.
The Trojans has their opportunities early and often in the first half, but after putting multiple shots wide Nate Michaelis buried the opening goal of the game, connecting on a pass from
Sean Fenton for the 1-0 lead.
Judson would answer quickly after, scoring less than 10 minutes later to even the match 1-1 before the break.
With neither side able to score in the final 45 minutes, the two teams played two ten minute overtime periods, but once again no goals were scored as both teams earned a point in the CCAC standings.
The Trojans are back in action Tuesday afternoon when they host Holy Cross College at 4:30 PM on Schartner Field.
