CHICAGO, Ill. - In a dominating performance from start to finish the TIU Volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 win over Roosevelt University, not allowing more than 20 points per set on Tuesday evening.

The Lady Trojans came out of the gate quickly in the opening set, jumping out to a quick 18-9 lead which the Trojans eventually sealed 25-12 with a trio of kills from Matty Hawkins, Deb Kovalczuk, and Brianna Torres.

After dominating the opening set the Trojans continued that pace in the second and third games of the match, taking advantage of 20 Laker errors in the final two sets to eventually sweep RU.

Kovalczuk finished with a team high 8 kills while not far behind was Hawkins and Torres who each finished with 6 a piece.

The Lady Trojans will look to continue their CCAC winning streak as they host St. Xavier University for their home opener on Thursday evening.
