DEERFIELD, Ill. - In one of their best performances of the 2019 season the TIU Women's Basketball team picked up a 76-60 win over the Trolls on Saturday afternoon.

Five Trojans finished the game in double figures, with Alina Jahnke having arguably her best game in a Trojan uniform, finishing with a team high 18 points. Bridgette Smith, Kylee Daniels, Hunter Noa, and Brittany Gafare all finished with 10+ points to round out the Trojans top performers of the night.

TIU had a slow start to open the game, but after the opening minutes the Trojans picked up their game shooting the ball, outscoring the Trolls in three of the four quarters.

The Trojans controlled the pace through the majority of the game, shooting a season high 43% from the field and 33% from behind the three point line to pick up their second CCAC win of the season.

The Trojans will now look to make it two in a row on Wednesday when they travel to Joliet to take on #14 St. Francis.
