After trailing 39-36 at the halftime break the Jaguars came out of the gates quickly in the second half, going on an early 7-0 run to take a commanding lead early in the half. After struggling to get things going offensively the Jaguars continued their torrid pace, leading 70-50 with 6:48 to play.
After a timeout called by TIU the Trojans rattled off an 11-0 run to get right back into the game. The Trojans would get within four points with 56 seconds to go, but a Robbie Brooks jumper sealed the win for GSU with under a remaining.
TIU will look to snap their three game losing streak when they take on Roosevelt University on Saturday afternoon.
