ELGIN, Ill. - A hot start and a three run 1st Inning was not enough to collect their second consecutive CCAC win as the TIU Baseball team suffered a 15-3 loss to Judson University on Thursday afternoon.
It was another solid performance from
Emmanuel Andujar as the Freshman had his second consecutive three hit performance, collecting a double and an RNI to lead the Trojan offense.
RBI singles in the opening frame of the game from Andujar, Lazaris and Balistreri gave the Trojans an early 3-0, but the Judson offense came to life in the following innings, scoring 15 unanswered runs to close the doors on the Trojans.
Â
The Trojans would only record 4 hits in the final 6 innings of the game, and were unable to get themselves back into the contest.
The Trojans will enjoy a few days off before jumping back into conference play next Tuesday when they hit the road to take on St. Ambrose University on Tuesday afternoon.
