BETTENDORF, Iowa. - Looking to bounce back after a tough loss last week the TIU Baseball team hit the road for a road matchup vs. St. Ambrose University, falling 20-1 on the road on Tuesday afternoon.

The Trojans offensive struggles continued on Tuesday afternoon, with TIU only registering 5 hits and 1 run in the loss.

The Bee's opened the game on a strong note, tallying 5 runs in the opening inning of the game, and never looking back. With the score at 11-0 in the top half of the 5th inning Matt Latimer scored the only Trojan run of the game after scoring on an SAU error.

Despite finding the score sheet the Bee's added 9 more runs in the remaining innings to close out a 20-1 victory over TIU.

The Trojans return home for their home opener on Friday afternoon when they take on St. Xavier University at Heritage Park on Friday March 22nd.
