MILWAUKEE, Wisc. --- The Trinity International University volleyball team took to the floor at the CSU Fieldhouse on Friday night to take on the Cardinal Stritch University Wolves in conference action.

The Trojans struggled in containing the Wolves attack as they were out blocked six to two throughout the match. After a stellar start to the first set, Cardinal Stritch battled back to pull the set into a back-and-forth match.

After the Wolves took each of the first two sets 25-21, TIU got the offense back on track with a convincing 25-12 win in the third to force a fourth set behind an attack led by Skyler Muramoto. The Trojans would battle it out with CSU in the fourth before the Wolves flipped the offensive switches to win the set 25-20, and the match, three sets to one.

Brianna Torres led the Trojans with 13 kills on the night, followed by Sara Andric with 12. Reigning conference Defensive Player of the Week Penina Sao tallied 12 digs on defense, while Jacqueline Decker notched 22 assists.

TIU returns to action on Saturday, September 28 as they take on Friends University in a non-conference matchup at 2:00 PM from the Mchile Arena on the Olivet Nazarene University campus in Bourbonnais.
