BOURBONNAIS, ILL. --- The Trinity International University volleyball team dropped their second consecutive match on Saturday afternoon to Friends University in four sets, 17-25, 23-25, 25-8, 22-25.
The Trojans played hard throughout the match, dominating the third set, however, it was not enough to rattle the Falcon's cage, ending in a hard loss in four. Sophomore Brianna Torres led the team in kills with 18 on offense. Leading the way in assists was freshman Anna Skrypchak with 20, while Penina Sao notched a team-high 24 digs on defense.
The Trojans return home to Van Dixhorn Arena on Tuesday, October 1 at 7:00 PM to resume conference play against Indiana University at South Bend.
