Trinity men's soccer struggles in loss at Judson

CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. --- The TIU men's soccer team visited the Judson Eagles on Tuesday afternoon at the McHenry Athletic Complex in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) play. Coming off a 3-1 loss at Lincoln on Saturday, the Trojans looked to rebound as they took on a tough Eagles team that entered the day with a 4-0-2 record in hopes of handing their opponent their first loss of the season.

Trinity battled tough with the Eagles for much of the first half, limiting their opponent's opportunities on offense. However, Judson would break through in the final 90 seconds before halftime scoring in the 43rd minute on a goal by Etabo Emena, and another just 83 seconds later by Rafael Rocha, to send TIU into the break trailing by two.

Judson's offense would turn up the pressure in the second half as Emena scored his second goal on a Luis Germano assist late in the 56th minute. The Trojans would get very few opportunities after that to respond, while the Eagles capped an impressive performance with a fourth goal in the final minute by Gabriel Uno to hand Trinity a 4-0 loss on the road.
