Trojans fall to #5 Cougars on the road

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. — With their first road game of the season, the Trojans traveled to Spring Arbor University for their latest non-conference matchup against another NAIA Top 25 opponent. Trinity endured another hard defeat, dropping the game 0-8.

The Cougars pounced early and scored in the first ten minutes before following up with their second goal five minutes later. Despite overwhelming bravery in blocking shots and calculated aggressive tackles, the Trojan defense struggled against the speed of Spring Arbor's forwards.

Senior goalkeeper Sarah Davis notched 11 saves in 90 minutes of action, but it wasn't enough to stop the #5 ranked offense in the country that sprayed 32 shots, with 19 on goal.
