CHICAGO, Ill. — This afternoon the Trojans hit the road for their latest CCAC clash against the Cougars of Saint Xavier University. Facing off with the currently ranked fourth seed in the conference proved to be a tough fight for Trinity as they fell 32-95.

Senior shooting guard Amber Reynolds led the Trojan offense as she posted nine points, while snatching five rebounds below the boards. Just a point behind, fellow senior Hattie Black bagged eight points, a season-best for the veteran guard.

Sophomore point guard Da'Naria Washington led the way under the net with seven rebounds, while three Trojans each grabbed five a piece: Reynolds, Ashley Geisler, and Audree Peck.

Trinity (3-16) looks to bounce back next Wednesday as they're on the road again for another CCAC tip-off, this time against the Jaguars of Governors State University. The starting whistle blows at 5:30pm at the Athletics and Recreation Center in University Park, Illinois.
