Box Score MILWAUKEE, Wisc - The TIU Volleyball Team won their fifth consecutive match on Tuesday evening, defeating the Cardinal Stritch Wolves 3-1 (25-23,25-19,21-25,25-22) to improve their overall record to 7-2 and moving to 2-0 in the CCAC.

The trio of Madeline Decker, Ashlyn Spay, and Sam Brenneman led the way for the Trojans, each posting 10 plus kills and combining for 72% of the teams total kills on the evening.

A slow start in the opening set gave the Wolves a quick 5-0 lead, but Trojans battled back after rattling off four consecutive points to eventually tie the set 9-9. The remainder of the set was a back and forth battle with the Trojans coming out on top 25-23 thanks to a set winning kill from Mickayla Staal.

The second set saw much of the same with both teams going back and forth, but yet again it was the Trojans who came out on top, taking a commanding two set to none lead. Brennamen finished the second set with six of her match high 13 kills.

The Wolves edged TIU in the third set 25-21, but the Trojans weren't down for long storming back for a fourth set victory 25-22 to win their fifth consecutive match and improve their CCAC record to 2-0.

Trinity International will be back in action tomorrow evening as the Trojans step out of conference to take on nearby Lake Forest College in the Van Dixhorn Arena at 7 pm.
