Box Score DEERFIELD, Ill - Make it six wins in a row for the TIU Volleyball team, as the Trojans defeat the Lake Forest College Foresters 3-1 (21-25,25-21,25-23,25-19) improving their record to 8-5 on the young season.
It was another strong performance from the Trojan outside hitters, as

Mickayla Staal added 12 of her own to lead the Trojans.
Penina Sao racked up 23 digs to lead the Trojans defensively.Â
The Foresters came out of the gates quickly to open the match, taking advantage of nine Trojan errors to win the first set 25-21.
The Trojans weren't down for long, bouncing right back for a second set victory to even the match. Trinity International opened the set with a 5-0 run and never looked back from there. Lake Forest continued to fight in the third and fourth sets, but the Trojan attack was too much for them to handle, as TIU closed the match out winning the final two sets 25-23, and 25-19. With their sixth consecutive victory the Trojans are now in the midst of their longest winning streak since the 2008-09 season.
The Trojans travel to St. Louis Mo. this weekend as they take on Crowley Ridge University and the St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Friday and Saturday. Live stats will be available at http://www.eutecticsports.com/
