BANNOCKBURN, Ill. --- Trojans sophomore outside hitter Brianna Torres has been named to the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA) North Central All-Region Teams as announced on Thursday at the regional championship match. Torres was selected among 11 other athletes from eight other schools in the region.

Torres, a native of Chula Vista, California, put together a solid season as one of the Trojans top offensive weapons. After receiving second team honors from the league in 2018, Torres averaged 3.22 kills per set in her sophomore season. 

Along with a .161 attack percentage, and 34 service aces, Torres, notched 3.19 digs per set and blocked 26 total shots at the net. Additionally, she was selected to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) All-Conference First Team.

The Trojans return to the court on December 5 as they compete in the opening round of the NCCAA National Tournament in Point Lookout, Missouri.
