GREENWOOD, Ind. — College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), has released their 2022-23 Academic All-District Team selections for men's and women's basketball. This designation recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Each institution is allowed to nominate four student-athletes who meet the requirement of a cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher as well as be a starter or significant reserve. Four Trojans were named to the 2022-23 edition of the honor.
Women's basketball received three All-District selections:
Men's basketball received one All-District selection:
Prior to this academic year, only women's soccer and baseball had previously seen an athlete recognized on the Academic All-District Team.
