Quick Notes
• Continuing their search for the first win of the season, the Trinity International Trojans host the Roosevelt Lakers in CCAC action Wednesday night, at 5:30 p.m. inside the Van Dixhorn Arena.
• The game will be available live, online, at TIUTrojans.com/TIUSportsNetwork
• TIU will look to snap a 23-game slide, dating back to last season.
• The Trojans are averaging 41.8 points per game, 13th-most in the CCAC; Defensively, they have allowed 73.8 points per game, ranking 10th in the conference.
• The Trojans were 5-24 last season, including an 0-18 mark in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
• Trinity returns just 44.3% of its scoring output from last season, as the top three scorers from a year ago graduated at the end of the season. This year's roster consists of just one senior, and included a total of 12 freshmen and sophomores.
• The Trojans have had arguably the toughest opening stretch of any team in the NAIA. Trinity will face off against five nationally-ranked programs in the month of November, including each opponent in the first four games of the season. TIU capped that run off with a matchup against No. 1 St. Francis (Ind.).
• Sophomore Basha Ramsey has led the team in the early portion of the season, with 11.6 points per game. Freshman Nika Bracun has been TIU's leading rebounder, averaging 6.2 boards per night.

Series History with Roosevelt
• The Trojans and Lakers have met six times since Roosevelt's reinstatement of the women's basketball program in 2010, with RU taking all six matchups.
• Roosevelt has taken three victories from TIU at Van Dixhorn Arena.

Last Time Out vs. Roosevelt
• Senior Clarissa Woodard led Trinity International with 19 points, including a perfect 9-for-9 performance from the free throw line, but a slow start was too much for the Trojans, who fell 90-57 to the Lakers on Feb. 1, 2014.
• Roosevelt scored the first nine points of the game, and quickly took a double-digit lead after a three-pointer made it a 12-2 game within the first four minutes of play. The lead would grow to as much as 35 points at halftime, as TIU would shoot 9-of-30 (30.0%) from the field and get to the free throw line just once in the first half. Freshman Arielle Miree led the Trojans with five points at the break, including a buzzer-beating layup to make it a 56-21 score.
• Trinity International outscored the Lakers in the second half, 36-34, but were never quite able to close the gap. Woodard scored 17 of her 19 points after the break, going 4-of-8 from the field in the second half.
• Sophomore Daja' Johnson pulled down a team-high six rebounds on the night, while Abigail Hemmeger and Amari Parham recorded a pair of assists apiece to lead the team. Hemmeger also picked off four steals in the game.

League Leaders
• Trinity ranks 5th in the CCAC in steals, averaging 10.0 per game; the team has been strong on the defensive end, allowing just a .264 three-point shooting percentage to their opponents (5th in CCAC), and a .395 clip from the field (7th in CCAC).
• Freshman Nika Bracun sits tied for 18th in the CCAC with 6.0 rebounds per game, and is the third-ranked freshman in the league. Bracun also ranks 8th in the conference in defensive boards, with 5.3 each night.
• Sophomore point guard Airelle Miree is averaging 2.8 assists per game, good for 15th in the CCAC.
• A pair of Trojans rank among the league leaders in steals, with sophomore Amari Parham averaging 2.5 steals per game, good for 7th; senior Daja Johnson sits 11th on the leaderboard, with 2.0 steals on average.

Trojan Program History
• Head Coach Laurel Wartluft is one of the winningest head coaches in NAIA history; Wartluft has collected 344 wins over her 24 years as a head coach, which ranks 16th on the NAIA's winningest active head coaching list.
• TIU has made two appearances at the NAIA Women's Basketball Championship, in 1992-93, and 1994-95. The Trojans lost in the first round both times, to College of the Ozarks (Mo.) in 1993, and Western Oregon in 1995.
• Since 2003-04, TIU has posted an overall record of 151-205 (.424).
• Since it's debut in 1999-00, Trinity International has never appeared in the NAIA Coaches Poll.
