Washington named NCCAA All-Region

GREENVILLE, S.C. — The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has released their all-region selections for the North Central region. Though the Trojans faced adversity throughout the entire season, one of their members received all-region recognition: Da'Naria Washington

Washington, a sophomore from Indianapolis, Indiana, earned her first all-region nod this season. She was recognized as NCCAA and CCAC Player of the Week last November after posting a rare triple-double against Roosevelt, recording 13 rebounds, 11 assists, and 15 points. In that same game, she tied the TIU single game record for most assists on the road. Washington started in 20 of 20 games played this season, scoring over 200 points, grabbing 127 rebounds and dishing out 97 assists.
