Season Stats: TIU | Olivet Nazarene

Quick Notes
• The Trinity International Trojans look to get back to their winning ways after their two-game win streak was snapped last week, with a road trip to visit the Olivet Nazarene Tigers in a mid-week matchup.
• Olivet Nazarene will have live video available; visit the women's basketball schedule page at TIUtrojans.com for links to video broadcasts, as well as live stats throughout the weekend.
• The Trojans are coming off a pair of tough losses last week, at Indiana-South Bend, and at home to 9th-ranked Purdue-Calumet.
• Two weeks ago, TIU snapped a 34-game slide, dating back to last season, with a 97-15 win over NCCAA-II foe Crossroads (Minn.), setting the all-time school record for margin of victory in an 82-point win.
• The Trojans also picked up their first conference win in over a full calendar year, with a 71-65 win over Holy Cross on Jan. 10.
• The Trojans are averaging 46.8 points per game, 13th-most in the CCAC; Defensively, they have allowed 73.3 points per game, ranking 9th in the conference.
• Olivet Nazarene leads the conference with 109.8 points per game, but also ranks last in the league on the defensive end, giving up 97.2 points per game, thanks to their fast-paced, high-possession style of play.
• The Trojans were 3-24 last season, including an 0-18 mark in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
• Trinity returns just 44.3% of its scoring output from last season, as the top three scorers from a year ago graduated at the end of the season. This year's roster consists of just one senior, and included a total of 12 freshmen and sophomores.
• The Trojans had arguably the toughest opening stretch of any team in the NAIA. Trinity faced off against five nationally-ranked programs in the month of November, including each opponent in the first four games of the season. TIU capped that run off with a matchup against No. 1 St. Francis (Ind.). Additionally, 12 of TIU's 20 opponents so far this season have winning records.
• Sophomore JaToya Woods has stepped up in a big way after making her debut during the team's three-game Florida swing. Woods is averaging a team-high 18.9 points per game over her seven appearances so far this year.
• Sophomore Basha Ramsey had led the team in the early portion of the season, and now has 11.0 points per game and a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game. Freshman Nika Bracun has been TIU's second-leading rebounder, averaging 5.5 boards per night.
• Ramsey collected 26 points in the Trojans loss to Warner (Fla.) on Jan. 2, setting a new season high for points in a game for TIU. Three different Trojans have reached the 20-point mark, on five different occasions, most recently JaToya Woods' 24-point performance against Purdue-Calumet last Saturday.

Series History with ONU
• Trinity International trail the all-time series with Indiana-South Bend, 10-1, dating back to 2003-04.
• The Trojans last victory over the Tigers came on Jan. 6, 2009, in a 107-95 home victory, the eighth win as part of a ten-game win streak at the time.
• The winning team in 10 of the 11 games have reached the 100-point mark; three times, the winners totaled more than 120 points. TIU scored over 100 points in two of their last three losses to Olivet Nazarene.

Last Time Out vs. Olivet Nazarene
• Sophomore guard JaToya Woods led Trinity International with a season-high 16 points on the night, but the Olivet Nazarene attack was too much to handle, as the Tigers hit 19 three-pointers en route to a 116-69 win inside the Meyer Sports Complex on Jan. 22, 2014.
• The 116 points by ONU were the most a Trojan squad had allowed since the two sides' meeting last season, when the Tigers won a 125-111 barn-burner in Bourbonnais. Olivet Nazarene took the lead on the first possession, with a three from ONU's Malory Adam, and went on to lead the rest of the way.
• Woods was one of two Trojans to finish in double figures, as TIU put up their highest point total since a Dec. 21 meeting with Robert Morris that saw the team reach the 70-point mark. Senior forward Clarissa Woodard contributed 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting, and a perfect 4-for-4 night from the free throw line.
