TRINITY INTERNATIONAL TROJANS (5-6) at ROCHESTER (Mich.) WARRIORS (7-5)
Monday, December 21 | 12:00 p.m. CST
RC Performance Gym | Rochester Hills, Mich.

Quick Notes
• The Trojans hit the road for one more game before the Christmas break, when they take on the Rochester (Mich.) Warriors on Monday afternoon.
• The noon tipoff will be the first ever meeting between the Trojans and Warriors.
• With a win, Trinity will record their first three-game winning streak of the season, and their longest win streak since the 2012-13 season.
• A victory would also improve the Trojans' record to 6-6 overall heading into the New Year. Trinity last sat at .500 or above on January 1st in the 2010-11 season; that year TIU was 10-8 at New Year's, before going on to finish 18-17 for the program's last winning season.
• Two players are averaging double figures for TIU this season, with senior guard JaToya Woods scoring a team-high 16.1 points per game. Junior Sarina Falvo has contributed 12.6 points per game while shooting 38.3% from three-point range in her first season as a Trojan.
• Rochester holds a 7-5 record entering Saturday's game at Spring Arbor (Mich.), and have won their last two regular-season games. The Warriors dropped a pair of exhibitions to NCAA Division I opponents Akron (Ohio) and Oakland (Mich.) earlier this month.
• TIU ranks 3rd in NAIA D-II with a team average of 14.5 steals per game, and are 8th nationally with 159 total steals.
• Defensively, the Trojans allow 63.82 points per game, good for 49th in the NAIA. Rochester ranks 50th, with an average of 63.83 points allowed each contest.
• The Trojans' win over Maranatha Baptist (Wisc.) on December 10th was head coach Laurel Wartluft's 350th career victory. Wartluft is one of 15 active coaches in the NAIA Division II with 350 or more victories.

National Leaders
• The Trojans are one of the better defensive units in the NAIA this season. Trinity ranks among the top 35 teams in six different defensive categories.
• Individually, freshman forward Parris Bryant ranks 7th in the nation with 2.55 blocks per game, and 9th in total blocks, with 28.

Player of the Week
• On Tuesday, junior guard Sarina Falvo was named the CCAC Player of the Week, as well as the NCCAA National Player of the Week, from Dec. 8-14.
• Falvo recorded a career-high 34 points in the win over the Calumet St. Joseph on Dec. 12, the highest single-game point total for a Trojan since the 2010-11 season. The Cairns, Australia native knocked down eight three-pointers, matching the highest total of any player in the NAIA D-II this season.
• The Player of the Week award is the first for Trinity International women's basketball in nearly five years, when Melanie Duplessis was selected Player of the Week on Feb. 8, 2011. That season, the Trojans reached the CCAC Tournament simifinals, and qualified for the NCCAA National Tournament.

1,000 Point Club
• Since 2003-04, four Trojans have reached 1,000 career points, most recently Brittany Simon (2009-13), with 1,019 points.
• JaToya Woods is the active career leader in scoring, with 658 points. With 24 points in the win over Maranatha Baptist last week, Woods moved into the program's top ten scoring list, dating back to the '03-'04 season.
• With eight points in Monday's game at Rochester, Woods will move into 9th on the list, surpassing Vivianne Kindt (2008-10).

Trojan Program History
• Head Coach Laurel Wartluft is one of the winningest active head coaches in the NAIA; Wartluft has collected 351 wins over her 25 years as a head coach.
