• Senior guard Sarina Falvo leads the team with 12.4 points per game in the early season. Rayelle Ross (10.6 ppg) is also averaging double figures for the Trojans.
• Senior forward Marlou Peters is averaging a team-high 7.0 rebounds per game. Six different Trojans are pulling down three or more boards per game.
• As a team, the Trojans rank 5th in the NAIA in free throw shooting, connecting at the charity stripe with a .775 percentage. Trinity posted a season-high .895 free throw percentage (17-of-19) in the win at Cincinnati Christian on Nov. 5.
• TIU head coach Laurel Wartluft earned her 355th career victory at Cincinnati Christian. Wartluft is one of 15 active coaches in NAIA Division II with 350 or more victories.
• Trinity is averaging 62.7 points per game as a team, good for 11th in the CCAC. Defensively, the Trojans allow an average of 67.4 points per game, ranking 8th in the league.
• The Roosevelt offense is 13th in the CCAC, averaging 57.0 points per game, while on the defensive end of the floor the Lakers allow 56.3 points per game, ranking 2nd in the league.
• Trinity ranks 4th in the CCAC with an average of 9.6 steals per game. Rayelle Ross leads the team and ranks 38th among NAIA leaders with 2.6 steals per game.
• As a team, the Trojans are shooting .775 from the free throw line, the 2nd-best percentage in the CCAC, and 5th-best in the NAIA.
• The Trojans are looking to improve upon last season's record of 8-19, which was the program's highest win total in three seasons.

Series History
• Tuesday marks the 11th meeting between the Trojans and Lakers since the 2010-11 season when Roosevelt re-started their athletic programs. Roosevelt currently holds a 9-1 lead in the series.
• Trinity earned their first win over Roosevelt last season, with a 68-66 win on Dec. 2, 2015.

Last Time Out vs. Roosevelt
• Four players finished in double figures for Trinity, as the Trojans fourth-quarter rally came up just short in a road loss to Roosevelt, 70-63 on Feb. 6, 2016.
• Trailing the host Lakers by 12 points midway through the third period, the Trojans pulled to within a single point with less than four minutes to play on a three-pointer from Sarina Falvo. Roosevelt outscored Trinity 10-4 the rest of the way to deny the Trojans' comeback.
• Marlou Peters led the TIU attack, recording 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting off the bench. Falvo collected 13 points in 38 minutes of work, while JaToya Woods and Nika Bracun tallied 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Scouting the Opponent
• Winners of three out of their last four, Roosevelt holds a 4-2 overall record and are 2-1 in CCAC play entering play this week. The Lakers are coming off a 72-64 home loss to Alma (Mich.) last weekend.
• Paige Gallimore leads the team with 19.2 points per game, good for the 14th-highest average in the NAIA.
• As a team, the Lakers hold their opponents to a .221 shooting percentage from three-point range, ranking 4th in the NAIA.

National Leaders
• Two Trojans rank among the top 32 players nationally in free throw percentage: Marlou Peters is 5th in the NAIA with a .947 percentage, while Sarina Falvo ranks 32nd with a .846 shooting percentage.
• Senior guard Rayelle Ross is 38th in the NAIA, with 2.6 steals per game this season.

Trojan Program History
• Head Coach Laurel Wartluft is one of the winningest active head coaches in the NAIA; Wartluft has collected 356 wins over her 26 years as a head coach.
• TIU has made two appearances at the NAIA Women's Basketball Championship, in 1992-93, and 1994-95. The Trojans lost in the first round both times, to College of the Ozarks (Mo.) in 1993, and Western Oregon in 1995.
• Since 2003-04, TIU has posted an overall record of 161-246 (.396).
•Trinity International has never appeared in the NAIA Coaches Poll since it's debut in 1999-00.

1,000 Point Club
• Since 2003-04, four Trojans have reached 1,000 career points, most recently Brittany Simon (2009-13), with 1,019 points.
• Basha Ramsey is the active career leader in scoring, with 569 points.
